About the Role
Our client is a leading residential construction company with a national presence. Due to ongoing growth, a new opportunity exists to join their high-powered HR & Learning team in the Hills District as their new L&D Specialist - focusing on training across their Construction professionals.
Your role will be filled with tasks such as;
- Deliver engaging onboarding and technical training for new construction employees.
- Conduct safety and process-based training using a blended delivery model (virtual, online, and in-person).
- Work closely with construction managers and HR to identify and close skill gaps.
- Mentor early-career team members in cadetship, graduate, and apprenticeship programs.
- Manage and maintain training plans and records via HRIS and e-learning platforms.
- Travel to branches and sites across NSW to deliver impactful training sessions.
- Identify industry funding opportunities and maintain relationships with HIA, MBA, and other associations.

You will come from a construction background, having been on the tools yourself, or have worked in as similar role, as well as the below;
- Experience in delivering technical and safety training in a construction environment.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent).
- Confident presentation and facilitation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and team development.
- Trade qualification and/or background in residential construction
