A well-respected high-end residential builder delivering bespoke luxury homes across Sydney’s North Shore and Northern Beaches is seeking an experienced Leading Hand Carpenter to join our growing team.
We specialise in architecturally designed custom homes valued up to $4M+, with a strong reputation for craftsmanship, quality finishes, and a positive site culture.
The Role You’ll work closely with the Site Supervisor and Project Manager to deliver premium residential builds from groundworks through to handover. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and running organised, efficient sites.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate trades on site
- Hands-on carpentry and high-end finishing work
- Ensure projects run to programme and quality standards
- Maintain site safety and presentation
- Read and interpret plans and specifications
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers professionally
- Mentor apprentices and junior carpenters
- Proven experience as a Leading Hand or Senior Carpenter
- Strong background in custom luxury residential construction
- Excellent knowledge of residential building practices
- Ability to manage trades and keep projects moving
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented attitude
- White Card and own tools/licence required
- Salary up to $130K + Super(based on experience)
