Public Sector People (PSP) are partnering with a respected membership-based organisation in the CBD to recruit a Learning and Development Administration Officer.
We are looking for a motivated and organised individual to support the coordination and delivery of professional development programs, workshops, and events. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, passionate team and make a real impact on the experience of members and stakeholders.
Location:
Melbourne CBD
Duration:
2-month temporary contract, with the potential to go permanent
Rate:$38-40 per hour plus super
Hours:
38 hours per week, fulltime in the office
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative support across professional development programs, events, and workshops
- Coordinate registrations, respond to customer enquiries, and support promotional activities
- Assist in facilitating online sessions via Zoom
- Update and maintain content on internal databases and the organisation’s website
- Collaborate with team members and external facilitators to ensure timely delivery of programs
- Monitor progress against KPIs relevant to the role
- Proven experience in a similar administrative role, preferably within government, health, or education sectors
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to delivering quality service
- Highly developed organisational and time-management skills
- Comfortable working across multiple platforms and able to support virtual delivery environments
- A sound understanding of the local government
- Experience with Swiftfox or HRIS platforms is desirable
