About the Role
You will work closely with senior stakeholders and investment teams to deliver practical legal advice and support the structuring and execution of major projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising on legal and regulatory matters across investment and operational activities
- Supporting the structuring and delivery of complex transactions from approval through to financial close
- Drafting and negotiating commercial and project finance documentation
- Managing due diligence processes and identifying legal and reputational risks
- Engaging with external legal providers on specialised matters
- Supporting compliance, governance and internal policy implementation
You are a commercially minded lawyer who enjoys working closely with business teams on complex transactions and delivering pragmatic outcomes.
You will bring:
- Experience in infrastructure, project finance or investment transactions
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills across commercial agreements
- Experience supporting due diligence and risk assessment processes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex legal issues
- Sound judgement and a collaborative working style
- Bachelor of Laws and admission as an Australian solicitor
- Experience in project finance, infrastructure or related sectors
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks
- Experience in contract negotiation, procurement and compliance
