We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a brand new, state of the art manufacturing site. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a growing food manufacturing environment where your skills will play a key role in keeping production running smoothly.
The Role:
As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring all electrical systems and equipment across the bakery are maintained to the highest standard, minimising downtime and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production machinery
- Responding quickly and effectively to breakdowns
- Fault finding on electrical systems, motors, control panels, and PLCs
- Supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Ensuring all work complies with health & safety and food safety standards
- A Grade licence
- Experience within a manufacturing or food production environment preferred
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of PLC systems (desirable)
