We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a brand new, state of the art manufacturing site. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a growing food manufacturing environment where your skills will play a key role in keeping production running smoothly.
The Role:
As a Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for ensuring all mechanical systems and equipment across the bakery are maintained to the highest standard, minimising downtime and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production machinery
- Responding quickly and effectively to breakdowns
- Fault finding on hydraulics and pneumatics
- Supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Ensuring all work complies with health & safety and food safety standards
- Trade Cert III in Fitting
- Experience within a manufacturing or food production environment preferred
- Flexibility on hours
