A leading National manufacturer is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join their team at a state-of-the-art facility located in Smithfield. This is a full-time, night shift running Monday to Friday.

The Role As a Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing a wide range of production machinery to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- As a Maintenance Fitter you will carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance on mechanical equipment
- This Maintenance Fitter you will carry out fault finding, diagnosis, and repair of machinery
- As the Maintenance Fitter you will carry out installation and commissioning of new equipment
- This Maintenance Fitter will maintain accurate maintenance records
- The Maintenance Fitter will ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards
- Trade qualified Fitter (Mechanical Fitter or Fitter & Turner)
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
- Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
- $50-$55(includes loading allowance) per hour + superannuation
- Night shift hours – Monday to Friday
