Public Sector People is delighted to be working with Randwick City Council to appoint a results-driven Manager Engineering Services. This position provides strategic direction and operational oversight across traffic, asset management, transport planning and engineering services.
About the Role:
As part of the City Services division and reporting to the Director, you’ll be responsible for:
- Leading multidisciplinary teams across engineering, assets and transport
- Managing complex infrastructure planning, design, and delivery functions
- Delivering operational efficiency and continuous improvement
- Advising on strategic transport and traffic matters across the LGA
- Ensuring compliance with WHS, environmental, and governance frameworks
- Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant related field
- Demonstrated success in leading large infrastructure and transport teams in a Local Government setting
- Strong experience in asset management planning and design
- High-level leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Knowledge of local government operations and project delivery environments
- Influence strategy and performance across a $20M+ engineering function
- Lead a capable, multidisciplinary team committed to community outcomes
