Public Sector People is proud to be partnering with Randwick City Council to recruit a strategic and dynamic Manager Projects. This senior leadership role is central to the planning, design, and delivery of council-owned infrastructure, with oversight of a substantial capital works program and exciting projects.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Director City Services, you will lead a team responsible for:
- Overseeing all phases of Council’s capital project lifecycle
- Strategic planning, budgeting, and performance tracking
- Coaching and developing project planning and delivery teams
- Driving innovation and continuous improvement in service delivery
- Ensuring compliance with WHS, environmental, and legislative standards
- Degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Extensive experience in senior project leadership roles in a Local Government setting
- Strong understanding of governance, risk and procurement
- High-level people leadership, mentoring and stakeholder management skills
- Strategic and political acumen with a track record of complex project delivery
- Be a key contributor to a city-shaping infrastructure agenda
