This is an initial 4-month contract with potential to extend up to 7 months, working full-time on-site in the North West.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver marketing and promotional activities for Community Centres and Venues, including advertising, direct marketing, publicity, online campaigns and social media engagement.
- Develop and manage marketing and advertising campaigns to increase awareness, participation and utilisation of Council facilities.
- Create engaging digital and print marketing materials using Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign and Illustrator).
- Manage and promote events through Eventbrite and other event management platforms.
- Develop and deliver online marketing and social media content across multiple platforms.
- Support engagement and activation initiatives aimed at growing and diversifying community centre users and venue hirers.
- Promote facilities to community groups, service providers and stakeholders to maximise utilisation.
- Assist with market research activities, including customer surveys, feedback and reporting.
- Qualification in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience in marketing, advertising campaign management and content creation.
- Strong experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Illustrator.
- Experience managing Eventbrite or similar event ticketing/registration platforms.
- Proven experience delivering online marketing and social media campaigns.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse community groups.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Experience in local council
Requirements
- Full-time on-site role (no hybrid work available)
- $40+ super per hour
- Current Victorian Driver’s Licence and access to a vehicle required
- Ability to obtain a Police Check and Working With Children Check
