Our client is an experienced Design and Construct firm with a diverse portfolio of high-end commercial projects. We are seeking a talented and experienced Interior Designer to join this fabulous team in Brisbane. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of creativity, technical expertise, and a proven track record of successful interior design projects. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our growing portfolio and work on projects that push the boundaries of design innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working alongside the Design Manager throughout the design process from concept to completion, ensuring the highest standards of quality and creativity.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Develop and present design concepts, mood boards, and presentations to clients.
- Produce detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for construction and installation.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to integrate innovative solutions into designs.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- 5+ years of local experience in interior design, with a focus on commercial fitout projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as ArchiCAD
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and budgets.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating exceptional and unique design solutions.
