Working closely with the Project Manager, you'll provide engineering, project delivery and contract administration support throughout the lifecycle of Natural Disaster Program recovery projects. This role is ideal for an experienced civil engineer with strong DRFA knowledge, excellent project controls experience and a passion for delivering infrastructure that makes a real difference to communities.
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering and project delivery support to the Project Manager across Natural Disaster Program projects.
  • Assist in managing project scope, risks and delivery timeframes.
  • Conduct site inspections and support project coordination activities.
  • Attend contractor meetings and provide technical advice on behalf of TMR.
  • Support the administration of Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA), including preparation of submissions and completion documentation.
  • Manage project financials including SAP expenditure, progress claims, accruals, budgets and forecasting within 3PCM.
  • Review and maintain project schedules in Primavera P6 and assess contractor programs for compliance.
  • Develop and update short-term construction programs and cost forecasts.
  • Assist with procurement, contract administration, variations, extensions of time and contractor performance.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, drawing registers and filing systems.
  • Coordinate with Contract Administration and Verification (CAV) teams to ensure compliance with approved project scope and funding requirements.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders, contractors and the Natural Disaster Program Office.
  • Capture project completion records, including RADAR documentation and completion photography.
  
Successful candidate
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) accredited under the Washington Accord or an equivalent qualification recognized by Engineers Australia.
  • Minimum 6 years' experience delivering transport infrastructure projects.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience delivering projects under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) framework.
  • Strong experience in project controls, contract administration and infrastructure delivery.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Primavera P6 and project financial management (3PCM experience highly regarded).
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and organizational skills.
  • Current Class C Driver's License.
