.Net Technical Lead

.NET Technical Lead – 8-Week Contract (with strong extension potential)

We’re looking for an experienced .NET Lead to join a large government department for an initial 2/3 engagement. This is a hands-on leadership role, providing technical direction, solution design, and oversight on a critical application project.
What you’ll be doing:

• Reviewing, prioritising, and estimating items in the issue backlog
• Providing technical oversight and guidance for development activities
• Keeping developers aligned and focused on project goals
• Holding external vendors accountable for the quality of deliverables
• Producing solution design documentation (Level 0 and Level 1)
• Delivering clear and detailed ‘As Built’ documentation

• Strong background in C# .NET, PowerShell, and SQL Server queries
• Ability to scope, estimate, and prioritise technical work effectively
• Proven experience producing solution designs and technical documentation
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage both developers and vendors
• Experience with applications exchanging data via CSV files and SFTP
