The Company:
Our client, a leading name in the bulk earthworks and transport sector, is entering a significant growth phase and is seeking a high caliber Senior Operations Leader to drive performance, efficiency, and expansion across its transport operations in the Pilbara.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager for Transport, this is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing two earthworks and haulage crews and contributing to the strategic direction of the division. The successful candidate will play a key part in operational delivery, client development and overall business growth.
This position requires a balance of operational oversight and strategic foresight, ideal for an individual ready to step into a role that blends leadership, business development and performance management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage day to day operations across two Pilbara based truck haulage crews
- Support the Operations Manager in executing strategic growth and operational improvement initiatives
- Develop and strengthen client relationships, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Drive operational excellence with a focus on safety, efficiency and service delivery
- Contribute to the strategic planning and scaling of the transport division
About You:
You are an accomplished operational leader with a track record of success within the bulk earthworks or heavy transport industries. You are commercially astute, adaptable and motivated by achieving measurable results. Above all, you thrive in dynamic, growth driven environments.
You will bring:
- 8 to 10 years of onsite experience within bulk earthworks industry, with an understanding of transport operations.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to deliver growth and operational improvements
- A proactive, solution focused mindset with the flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs
- $140,000 - $150,000 + Superannuation
