Payroll Analytics Advisor
Temporary Full-Time | 6-Month Contract | $68.20 p/hour + Super | Northern Melbourne

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Analytics Advisor to join our client’s dynamic team in Northern Melbourne. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful payroll data analysis and remediation projects within a highly regarded local council.

In this role, you will:

• Review historical payroll records and recommend solutions to resolve identified issues.
• Analyse payroll data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare reports and insights to support decision-making and process enhancements.
• Collaborate with Payroll, People & Partnerships, and Finance teams to ensure accurate remediation and reporting.
• Assist with documentation, audit preparation, and maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.

About You
You are a detail-oriented professional with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for process improvement. You have:

• Previous experience within Local Government, Public Sector, Healthcare, or Education.
• A tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
• At least 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of Chris21 or iChris (desired).
