Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end payroll for weekly and fortnightly cycles
- Process employee timesheets, allowances, RDOs, overtime, and site-specific conditions
- Ensure compliance with relevant awards, EBAs, and construction industry legislation
- Maintain accurate employee records and handle payroll queries
- Liaise with HR, site managers, and finance teams
- Prepare payroll reports and assist with month-end processes
- Support process improvements and payroll system optimisation
- Proven experience as a Payroll Officer within the construction industry(essential)
- Strong understanding of construction awards, EBAs, and site-based payroll complexities
- High attention to detail and excellent numerical accuracy
- Proficient with payroll systems (e.g., MYOB, Chris21, ADP, or similar)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport across the business
- A proactive approach with strong problem-solving ability
- Competitive salary $80,000 – $110,000 + Super, depending on experience
