Working closely with the Senior People & Culture Business Partner, you will partner with leaders across the organisation to support complex workforce matters, ensure legislative compliance and contribute to a safe, inclusive and high-performing workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic HR, Employee Relations and Industrial Relations advice to managers and leadership teams.
- Manage complex ER/IR casework, including misconduct, grievances, performance and disputes.
- Interpret and provide advice on Enterprise Agreements, Awards and relevant legislation.
- Support organisational change processes including consultation, restructures and workforce transitions.
- Partner with leaders to build capability and support effective people management practices.
- Assist with policy development, governance and compliance across the People & Culture function.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders, including unions and employee representatives where required.
- Strong experience in Employee Relations and Industrial Relations advisory roles.
- Solid understanding of the Fair Work Act, Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex and sensitive workplace matters.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to coach and influence leaders.
- Previous experience in local government or another complex/public sector environment will be highly regarded.
- 3-month contract with potential for extension
