Working closely with leaders, you'll support everything from employee relations and organisational change through to workforce planning, investigations and strategic people initiatives.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide trusted HR advice across the full employee lifecycle.
- Partner with leaders on employee relations, performance, engagement and organisational change.
- Manage complex casework, including investigations, grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Support workforce planning, organisational design and capability initiatives.
- Contribute to HR projects, policy development and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, awards and HR best practice.
- Experience in a Business Partner or senior HR advisory role.
- Strong employee and industrial relations knowledge.
- Confidence managing complex workplace matters and coaching leaders.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Relevant HR qualifications or equivalent experience.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Fixed term contract - direct with council
