About the Opportunity
  
Opportunity for Project Planner / Scheduler to support the tender phase for a major high-voltage transmission line package. As the Planner, you will bring transmission line construction expertise to help develop a technically sound and competitive submission. You'll work closely with construction, design, procurement, and commercial teams to produce scheduling, progress measurement, and risk deliverables that set the project up for success.
  
Key Responsibilities of the Project Planner
  
Develop and manage Master Schedule, Baseline Schedule, and Look-ahead Program for the Transmission Line package.
Measure progress rates, analyse delays, and establish recovery programs where required.
Coordinate schedules with construction, design, procurement, QA/QC, HSE, the client, and subcontractors.
Establish WBS for construction packages, define work sequences, and manage key milestones.
Prepare weekly and monthly Progress Reports, S-curves, Delay Reports, and Productivity Reports.
Analyse schedule changes and support Extension of Time (EOT) and claims processes.
Support establishment of site productivity, resource allocation, equipment, and manpower plans.
Review processes linked to ITP, work packs, and construction methods.
Monitor key material delivery dates and construction interface risks.
Conduct site visits to verify actual progress and identify schedule risks.
  
What You Can Bring as the Project Planner
  
5+ years of relevant planning and scheduling experience on major construction projects.
Demonstrated experience on Transmission Line Construction projects is highly regarded.
Hands-on Planning / Scheduling experience with strong schedule control capability — essential.
Proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools.
Advanced skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Strong understanding of site construction processes, resources, interfaces, and risks.
Background in utility, contractor, or EPC project environments preferred.
Knowledge of Australian Standards and HV project safety and quality standards.
White Card and Driver Licence preferred. Eligible to work legally in Australia preferred.
