About the Role
A fast-growing EV infrastructure business is expanding its presence in Australia and seeking a talented Pre-Sales & Delivery Engineer
to help deploy cutting-edge high-voltage fast-charging systems for commercial and heavy-fleet customers.
This hybrid position combines technical pre-sales support
with delivery management, bridging the gap between engineering, utilities, and customers. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing solutions, supporting tenders, coordinating deployments, and helping scale the company’s footprint across Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the technical interface between customers, engineering, and utilities during all project stages.
- Lead pre-sales activities including scoping, system design, and proposal development.
- Manage delivery and deployment of high-voltage connected fast-charging systems.
- Liaise with DNSPs and grid operators to coordinate site connections and compliance.
- Translate complex technical information into clear, customer-friendly presentations.
- Conduct site visits and support installation teams as required.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of products, processes, and customer experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or related Engineering discipline.
- 5–10+ years’ experience across electrical infrastructure, power systems, or grid connection projects.
- Proven experience working with HV systems and DNSPs/utilities.
- Strong blend of technical, commercial, and customer-facing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of building trust and credibility with clients.
- Comfortable working in agile or startup environments with a hands-on approach.
- Willingness to travel interstate for customer meetings and site visits (approx. 20–30%).
- Experience in EV charging, renewables, or electrification projects.
- Background in consulting engineering or systems integration.
- Familiarity with large-scale transport, fleet, or industrial electrical systems.
