As the Principal Project Coordinator (Architect), you will play a key role in school infrastructure projects by providing architectural guidance and design expertise in the early stages of project planning. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure projects meet departmental and government standards while delivering sustainable, accessible, and innovative designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide architectural design and planning advice to internal teams.
- Develop, review, and assess concept designs and master plans for school projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, planners, and key stakeholders to integrate design solutions into project planning.
- Engage with school representatives and executive teams to align designs with educational needs.
- Ensure compliance with departmental policies, sustainability requirements, and best practices.
Key Requirements
- Is a Registered Architect (Queensland).
- Has experience in education, public sector, or government projects.
- Thrives in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.
- Understands Queensland Government infrastructure policies
