About the Opportunity
We are representing a highly regarded, award-winning building and construction firm with a 25-year track record of delivering high-rise residential & commercial projects throughout Victoria.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in day-to-day coordination of construction projects (residential / commercial / retail) from mobilisation through to completion.
- Track and report project progress: schedules, budgets, change orders, subcontractor deliverables, RFIs and documentation.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (site team, design, trades, procurement), external consultants and subcontractors to ensure seamless workflow.
- Maintain project records, prepare meeting minutes, follow up on actions, produce regular status updates.
- Support quality assurance, safety and compliance processes, ensuring site documentation is up-to-date and audits/tracking is supported.
- Help manage variations and cost control processes and support forecasting of upcoming works.
- Proven experience (2–5 years) in a similar role within the commercial/residential construction sector.
- Excellent organisational skills: ability to multitask, prioritise and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; confident dealing with diverse stakeholders.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset – you see what needs to be done and act.
- Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Building, Project Management or similar, and familiarity with major inner-city construction projects.
