They are currently seeking a Project Engineer
on a 6-month contract role, starting ASAP on a major residential project in Brunswick.
Project Details:
- Project:$150M, 169-bed apartment development
- Packages: Façades, balustrades, and various miscellaneous scopes
- Rate: Up to $80/hr (negotiable based on experience)
- Hours: 40 hours/week + occasional Saturdays (approx. 1/month, rotated)
- Duration: Minimum 6 months with a strong chance of extension
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and delivery of construction works in accordance with project schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to coordinate design and construction
- Prepare and review technical documentation
- Monitor and report on project progress, cost control, and risk management
- Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, project specifications, and contract requirements
- Provide technical support during procurement and site execution phases
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, inspections, and quality assurance
Requirements:
- Previous experience delivering similar builds and project values in Melbourne
- Valid White Card
- Ideally 5+ years' experience in construction and looking to grow with a top-tier contractor
