The Role: As the company expands its operations following several new project wins, they are searching for an experienced Project Engineer to join the team. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, ensuring that technical specifications meet real-world execution.
Your day-to-day will involve:
- Technical Oversight: Conducting penetrometer (peno) testing and applying deep knowledge of sand structures and soil compaction to ensure site integrity.
- Earthworks Management: Managing large-scale bulk earthworks and "dirt" packages with a high level of technical competency.
- Collaborative Delivery: Working closely alongside Project Managers and Supervisors to keep projects on track and resolve site challenges.
- Commercial & Reporting: Preparing detailed progress reports, tracking budget vs. actual costs, and managing procurement for project-specific supplies.
- Quality & Safety: Overseeing QA/QC processes and ensuring all worksite tasks are completed safely and to a high standard.
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering(Minimum).
- 3+ years of experience in a Project Engineer or Senior Site Engineer role within the Civil sector.
- Earthworks Expert: Extensive knowledge of bulk earthworks and the specific challenges of working with Perth soils/sand.
- Hands-on: Competent in conducting peno tests and interpreting geotechnical data.
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence and full Australian working rights.
