Senior Project Engineer – Pre-Construction
Are you a Senior Project Engineer who enjoys shaping projects before they break ground?
We're partnering with a highly regarded developer-builder to recruit an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join the team on a landmark $250M, three-stage residential development in Brisbane.
This is a genuine opportunity to play a key role in the project's success from the very beginning, taking ownership of the pre-construction phase before transitioning into delivery as construction progresses.
Working alongside an experienced leadership team, you'll be heavily involved in the front-end of the project, taking the design from approximately 70% through to construction-ready documentation while ensuring the project is set up for a successful build.
This isn't a role for someone who needs hand-holding. You'll be expected to hit the ground running and provide technical leadership across the pre-construction process.

- Manage design coordination and design development through to construction issue.

- Work closely with the estimating team on cost planning, value management and commercial outcomes.

- Ensure the project is fully prepared for a seamless transition into construction.
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer on large-scale residential or commercial developments.
- Strong understanding of design management and pre-construction processes.
- Experience with procurement, cost control, programming and value engineering.
- Commercially astute with excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Able to work autonomously and confidently in a fast-paced environment.
