This role is best suited to candidates with strong civil/electrical project experience, particularly within the road projects space. The department are looking for someone who can confidently support supervisors and project managers in both planning and delivery phases.

Key Responsibilities
As a PSR, you will play a critical support role, enabling Supervisors and Project Managers to focus on higher-level delivery by managing coordination and operational tasks.
   
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Scheduling and resource allocation
  • Document control and compliance tracking
  • Procurement coordination and cost tracking
  • Monitoring project progress and reporting
  • Coordinating subcontractors and materials
  • Ensuring safety and quality standards are upheld
  • Supporting WHS compliance at all times
  • Collaborating effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
   
About You
You are a motivated and reliable professional with a strong background in civil construction, particularly in roadworks. You lead by example, demonstrate sound judgement under pressure, and take ownership of your work.
   
You will bring:
  • Proven experience in civil construction (road projects essential)
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Confidence in decision-making and problem-solving
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
   
Desirable attributes (civil)
  • Experience in road maintenance, construction, or a similar field.
  • Traffic Management Implementation (TMI) certification.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge for minor equipment maintenance.
  • Current, valid Queensland “C” class driver’s licence (or equivalent)
  • Current White Card

Desirable attributes (electrical)
  • Experience with electrical and/or maintenance practices or a similar field.
  • Traffic Management Implementation (TMI) certification.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge for minor equipment maintenance.
  • Current, valid Queensland “C” class driver’s licence (or equivalent)
  • Current White Card
