About the Role
As Project Engineer, you'll support the end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects valued between $500k and $10M, including pump stations, odour control systems, and associated water assets. This is a dynamic, hands-on engineering role where your coordination, buildability insight, and project management support will be crucial to successful delivery.
You’ll work closely with the Project Manager, design teams, and site staff, helping drive quality, compliance, and performance across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and design, ensuring feasibility, accuracy, and compliance.
- Review engineering drawings for practicality and constructability.
- Coordinate between design, procurement, fabrication, and site teams.
- Support cost, schedule, and risk tracking for live projects.
- Conduct technical reviews and manage QA documentation (e.g., ITPs, ITCs).
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to track procurement and installation timelines.
- Ensure regulatory, quality, and OH&S compliance across project phases.
- Provide on-site support during construction and commissioning phases.
- Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar engineering role, ideally within water or wastewater infrastructure.
- Strong grasp of engineering drawings, fabrication standards, and site coordination.
- Comfortable working across multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of 3D modelling tools (e.g., Inventor, SolidWorks) is highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
