With a strong and growing pipeline of civil and infrastructure work in Western Australia, they're selectively adding an experienced Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer, who bring the same values they operate by: quality outcomes, full accountability, and a collaborative approach on site.
The Role:
As Project Engineer/Senior Project Engineer, you'll take day to day ownership of delivering critical wastewater, facility upgrades and drainage infrastructure upgrades across two remote communities in Exmouth and Alice Springs, renewing and expanding sewer, stormwater and drainage networks to support local residents. Working closely with the Project Manager and site team, you'll keep the works safe, on program and on budget.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing day to day delivery of civil works including pipelaying, pit/manhole construction, pump station upgrades and earthworks
- Preparing and tracking program schedules and reporting progress
- Coordinating subcontractors and suppliers to keep works sequenced efficiently
- Managing QA documentation, ITPs and compliance with relevant standards
- Overseeing site safety and maintaining a strong safety culture
- Liaising with clients, authorities and community stakeholders
- Managing variations, RFIs and contract administration with the commercial team
- Supporting procurement planning given the remote logistics involved.
You're an experienced Project Engineer seeking the next step in your career, or a Senior Project Engineer who has already stepped into Project Management duties, with strong technical proficiency, a genuine enjoyment of a challenge, an adaptable personality, and strong relationship building skills that help you work collaboratively across site teams, subcontractors and clients, you will also have the following skills and experience:
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Proven experience delivering civil infrastructure, ideally sewer, stormwater or water/wastewater works
- Comfortable working in remote or regional locations
- Strong communicator who builds genuine relationships on site
- Hands-on, accountable and reliable
- Current driver's licence; White Card and relevant tickets well regarded.
- $140,000 - $160,000 base salary + Superannuation.
