We are looking for a Project Financial Accountant
to support our client, a Local Government organisation based in Eastern Melbourne, during a significant system migration project. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your financial expertise and Oracle Fusion
knowledge in a project-focused environment.
Our client is currently transitioning their core Finance system to Oracle Fusion and requires an experienced finance professional to join their Financial Accounting team on a 3-month temporary contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support system migration by validating financial data as part of the transition process.
- Assist with business process improvement activities to enhance system efficiencies.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support system training for end users.
- Participate in post-implementation project reviews and provide ongoing financial accounting support.
- Previous experience working in a similar role within Local Government, Not-for-Profit, Education, or Healthcare sectors.
- Strong background in financial accounting with proven project support experience.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion is essential.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
