The Opportunity
Reporting to the Director, you'll lead project delivery across the full lifecycle, from concept planning and feasibility through to procurement, construction, and handover. You'll work closely with university and government stakeholders, guiding consultant teams and ensuring successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Project Delivery – Oversee strategy, design, procurement, and delivery across multiple education infrastructure projects.
- Client Advisory & Representation – Act as a trusted client representative, providing leadership and insight throughout all project stages.
- Procurement & Contract Management – Manage tender processes, negotiate contracts, and supervise compliance during delivery phases.
- Project Documentation & Reporting – Maintain oversight of budgets, programs, and quality documentation.
- Stakeholder & Team Coordination – Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure aligned project outcomes.
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- 5–10+ years’ experience in project management within client-side or consultancy environments
- Demonstrated experience delivering education or institutional projects, ideally in the tertiary/university sector
- Skilled in design management, procurement, contract administration, and stakeholder coordination
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong leadership skills
- Self-driven, detail-focused, and capable of managing multiple projects concurrently
