Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of asset renewal projects from initiation through to completion.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets and resource requirements to ensure successful project delivery.
- Monitor project performance, costs, risks and timelines, providing accurate reporting and forecasting throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Delivery Partners and internal stakeholders to define project scope and deliver agreed outcomes.
- Identify, assess and manage project risks while implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
- Support the evaluation of engineering solutions and contribute to project feasibility and delivery decisions.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance project management practices and program performance.
- Facilitate effective project close-out, including documentation, handover to operations and capturing lessons learned.
- Build strong relationships across the business to support collaboration, communication and successful project outcomes.
About You
You're an organized and collaborative project professional who enjoys delivering infrastructure projects that make a real impact. You bring strong planning and stakeholder management skills and can confidently manage competing priorities while maintaining a focus on safety, quality and customer outcomes.
To be successful, you'll have:
- Demonstrated experience managing infrastructure, maintenance or asset renewal projects.
- Strong project planning, budgeting, scheduling and risk management capabilities.
- Experience managing contractors or delivery partners to achieve project outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across diverse teams.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and governance practices.
- The ability to analyze project performance, monitor budgets and provide meaningful reporting and insights.
- A collaborative approach that aligns with a 'one team' culture.
- A degree in Project Management, Engineering, Science, Finance, IT or a related discipline is desirable.
- Project management qualifications (or progress towards PMP or equivalent certification) will be highly regarded.
