Key Responsibilities
- Manage the planning and delivery of capital works and infrastructure projects.
- Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and procurement plans.
- Coordinate consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor project performance, risks, variations, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare reports, business cases, and updates for senior management and Council.
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with Council policies, legislative requirements, and industry standards.
- Engage effectively with community members, elected representatives, and external agencies.
- Demonstrated experience delivering projects within local government, government, utilities, construction, engineering, or infrastructure environments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and contractor management skills.
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, procurement, and risk.
- Ability to work independently and drive outcomes in a regional environment.
- Relevant qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Asset Management, or a related discipline.
