An established and highly successful construction company, main office located in Victoria, is expanding into the WA market. With a strong track record delivering high-quality projects across the East Coast, the business is now launching operations in Perth, backed by secured work and a growing pipeline.
They have already established a capable local team in WA and maintain strong relationships with local subcontractors and labour.
With two fit out and refurbishment projects confirmed, valued at approximately $8m each are set to commence shortly, and a confirmed 12 months worth of work.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to take on a senior leadership role, overseeing projects and helping drive the company’s growth in WA. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who thrives in both project delivery and contract administration, and is looking to step into a broader construction management role.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end project management of fit out and refurbishment projects
- Program planning, scheduling, and resource management
- Budget management, cost control, and financial reporting
- Contract administration including procurement, subcontractor management, and variations
- Managing client relationships and stakeholder communication
- Leading site teams and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Supporting the growth and development of the WA team
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry
- Strong background in fit out and refurbishment projects
- Solid experience in contract administration and commercial management
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Motivated to take on a senior role with growth potential
