We are currently looking for Project Managers to join a well-established and highly regarded Tier 2/3 construction business delivering some of Melbourne's most considered high-end residential projects.
The business has recently experienced significant internal growth and promotion, creating opportunities for Project Managers to take ownership of major multi-residential developments and continue developing their careers within a supportive, high-performing team.
Projects are currently requiring Project Managers:
- A high-end multi-residential development comprising approximately 10 levels and multiple basement levels, currently progressing through construction.
The Role
Working closely alongside the Site Manager, Senior Project Managers and Construction Managers, you will take responsibility for the commercial and project delivery aspects of the development.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing early procurement and subcontractor engagement.
- Reviewing scopes, pricing and subcontractor packages.
- Managing the delivery of major trade packages across structure, façade, finishes and building services.
- Working closely with client and consultant teams.
- Attending design and project coordination meetings.
- Managing project financials and commercial performance.
- Monitoring programme, project risks and delivery milestones.
- Supporting the project through to completion and ensuring a high-quality finished product.
Who We Are Looking For
We are open to experienced Project Managers, as well as Senior Project Coordinators or Project Engineers from a Tier 1 environment who are ready to take the next step into a genuine Project Manager role.
You will ideally have:
- Experience delivering multi-residential or large-scale apartment projects.
- Experience working on multi-storey developments with multiple basement levels.
- Strong understanding of construction delivery from procurement through to completion.
- Experience managing subcontractor and trade packages across areas such as structure, façades, finishes and services.
- Strong commercial and financial understanding.
- The confidence to engage with clients, consultants and project stakeholders.
- A proactive, positive attitude and the energy to take ownership of a major project.
The company offers a positive, social and family-oriented culture where people are encouraged to take ownership, have a go and develop their careers.
There is also a clear pipeline of future opportunities, with additional Project Manager positions expected to become available later in the year.
If you are a Project Manager looking for your next major project, or a Senior Project Coordinator ready to take the next step, we would love to hear from you.
