This role will primarily see you working on tier 1 infrastructure projects across roads, bridges, and rail, delivering critical foundation and piling packages that underpin major transport networks.

THE ROLE
As Project Manager – Piling, you will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of piling and deep foundation works across major civil infrastructure projects. You’ll lead site teams, manage subcontractors, oversee program and cost performance, and work closely with clients, engineers, and internal stakeholders.
You’ll be expected to bring strong construction methodology knowledge across driven piles, bored piles, CFA, secant piling, shoring systems, and retaining structures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead delivery of piling and foundation works across major infrastructure projects
- Manage program, budget, forecasting, and commercial performance
- Oversee site teams including Supervisors, Engineers, and subcontractors
- Coordinate with design teams to ensure buildability and efficient methodology
- Drive HSEQ compliance and promote a strong safety culture on site
- Manage client relationships and stakeholder communication across tier 1 contractors and government clients
- Review and approve construction methodologies, lift plans, and ITPs
- Manage procurement of plant, materials, and subcontractors
- Ensure accurate reporting across cost, progress, and risk
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Engineer in piling / foundations
- Strong understanding of piling techniques and geotechnical interfaces
- Experience delivering tier 1 infrastructure projects (roads, rail, bridges)
- Strong commercial and contractual awareness (head contract + subcontractor management)
- Ability to lead site teams and manage multiple stakeholders confidently
- Excellent planning, programming, and problem-solving capability
- Strong safety leadership and site presence
