Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating and driving project delivery from commencement through to completion
- Working closely with site-based teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification
- Managing project schedules, budgets, procurement activities, subcontractors, and overall project performance
- Monitoring financial outcomes, including forecasting, cost tracking, progress claims, and variations
- Maintaining strong working relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and key stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, safety standards, environmental requirements, and relevant legislation
- Identifying project risks and implementing practical solutions to maintain delivery targets
- Assisting with tenders, methodology development, and planning for upcoming works
- Providing leadership and support to operational teams while promoting a positive and collaborative culture
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience managing civil infrastructure projects within a contractor environment
- Exposure to projects involving earthworks, residential or industrial subdivisions, road construction, and underground utilities
- Sound knowledge of project programming, budgeting, forecasting, contract administration, and cost control
- Strong communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
- A practical and proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
- The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within tight timeframes
- A strong focus on workplace health and safety, quality assurance, and continuous improvement
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office and project management software
- A current Driver Licence and White Card
