We are partnered with a leading civil contractor that have projects across Greater Sydney area. We need someone that can handle projects involving earthworks, residential or industrial subdivisions, road construction, and underground utilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating and driving project delivery from commencement through to completion
  • Working closely with site-based teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification
  • Managing project schedules, budgets, procurement activities, subcontractors, and overall project performance
  • Monitoring financial outcomes, including forecasting, cost tracking, progress claims, and variations
  • Maintaining strong working relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and key stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, safety standards, environmental requirements, and relevant legislation
  • Identifying project risks and implementing practical solutions to maintain delivery targets
  • Assisting with tenders, methodology development, and planning for upcoming works
  • Providing leadership and support to operational teams while promoting a positive and collaborative culture
Profile
  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience managing civil infrastructure projects within a contractor environment
  • Exposure to projects involving earthworks, residential or industrial subdivisions, road construction, and underground utilities
  • Sound knowledge of project programming, budgeting, forecasting, contract administration, and cost control
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • A practical and proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within tight timeframes
  • A strong focus on workplace health and safety, quality assurance, and continuous improvement
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office and project management software
  • A current Driver Licence and White Card
