Our client is an established commercial fit out specialist with a strong reputation for delivering premium workplace, government, education and hospitality projects. With a healthy pipeline of secured work, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead projects from inception through to completion.
The Role
As Project Manager, you will take ownership of multiple commercial fit out projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing commercial fit out projects from pre-construction through to handover
- Developing and maintaining project programmes and budgets
- Managing project financials, forecasting and cost control
- Coordinating subcontractors, consultants and suppliers
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Managing project risks and resolving issues as they arise
- Ensuring compliance with safety, quality and contractual requirements
- Leading site teams to achieve programme and delivery milestones
- Reporting on project progress to senior management
- Previous experience as a Project Manager within commercial construction
- Proven experience delivering commercial fit out projects
- Strong understanding of construction methodology and project delivery
- Excellent commercial and financial management skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build lasting client relationships
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline
