The Role As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful end-to-end delivery of high-security fencing and associated infrastructure projects across sectors including:
- Defence and government facilities
- Airports and aviation infrastructure
- Energy and utilities
- Secure storage and logistics facilities
- Critical infrastructure and high-security facilities
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of construction and infrastructure projects
- Lead project mobilisation, delivery, commissioning and handover
- Take ownership of project budgets and financial performance
- Monitor project costs, forecasts, variations and commercial performance
- Develop and manage project programmes and key delivery milestones
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, site teams and project resources
- Lead project planning, procurement and mobilisation activities
- Manage client, consultant and stakeholder relationships
- Identify and manage project risks, issues and opportunities
- Ensure compliance with WHS, quality, environmental and project requirements
- Provide accurate project reporting to senior management and clients
- Drive successful project completion, commissioning and close-out
Essential Requirements
- Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering degree
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within construction, civil or infrastructure
- Demonstrated construction delivery experience
- Proven experience managing project budgets and financial performance
- Strong experience across project mobilisation, delivery and commissioning
- Experience managing projects from inception through to completion and handover
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, programmes, budgets and project controls
- Proven experience managing contractors, subcontractors and suppliers
- Strong commercial and contractual awareness
- Excellent stakeholder and client management skills
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving capabilities
- High level of commitment to safety, quality and project performance
