This is an exciting opportunity to work on the transformation of a heritage-listed building, requiring a Project Manager with strong commercial fit out experience and a genuine understanding of the complexities that come with working within heritage environments.
Working on-site, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of the project, coordinating trades, subcontractors, consultants and stakeholders to ensure the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the day-to-day delivery of the renovation and fit out works
- Coordinating subcontractors, trades and consultants on-site
- Managing programme, quality, safety and project milestones
- Working closely with the client and project stakeholders
- Identifying and resolving project issues as they arise
- Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with project requirements and heritage considerations
- Maintaining strong communication across all project stakeholders
You will ideally have:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within commercial projects ideally refurbishment / fit out
- Previous experience working on heritage buildings / heritage renovations is highly desirable
- Strong subcontractor and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent understanding of construction programmes, quality and site delivery
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A proactive approach with the ability to manage challenges independently
