Project Manager

Design and Build is partnering with an award-winning contractor to recruit a skilled Project Manager for their expanding civil infrastructure team in Brisbane.

This role offers the opportunity to lead the delivery of roads, drainage, subdivisions, and general civil infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage civil infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
• Develop and maintain project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate and liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare and present regular project reports to stakeholders.
• Manage project risks and resolve issues promptly to avoid delays.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing project team environment.

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in civil construction, particularly in roads and drainage projects.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Understanding of safety regulations and commitment to a safe working environment.
• Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or construction management.
• Australian citizen or permanent resident.
