Are you a skilled Project Officer with experience delivering capital works and infrastructure projects? Public Sector People are looking for a Project Officer to join a council in Western Sydney and assist with the end-to-end delivery of impactful projects that support their growing community.
What You’ll Do
- Manage a range of capital works projects from concept to completion
- Oversee procurement, budgeting, and contract management
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders
- Prepare tenders and project documentation
- Ensure projects meet time, cost, and quality targets
- Report on project progress and risks
- Relevant qualifications in construction or project management
- 2–5 years’ experience working with capital works projects
- Strong procurement experience — ideally including fleet or vehicle acquisition
- Familiarity with TRIM and TechOne is a plus
- Local government experience is a plus
- Excellent communication, time management, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Class C Driver’s Licence & Construction White Card
