We’re currently partnering with a well-established Australian food manufacturing business to recruit a Quality Systems Coordinator to support and strengthen quality, food safety and compliance systems across a busy manufacturing operation.

The Opportunity Working closely with the Quality and Operations teams, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving the site’s quality management systems and ensuring ongoing compliance with food safety, customer and regulatory requirements.
You’ll be involved across the full quality function, with a strong focus on systems, auditing, compliance, documentation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and continuously improve the site's Quality Management System and associated documentation.
- Coordinate internal audits, external audits and customer audit requirements.
- Manage corrective actions, non-conformances and follow-up activities.
- Support HACCP, food safety and quality programs across the manufacturing site.
- Monitor quality trends, KPIs and compliance performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Maintain controlled documents, procedures, specifications and quality records.
- Support incident, complaint and root-cause investigations.
- Work closely with Production, Operations and other departments to embed quality standards across the site.
- Assist with training and awareness initiatives relating to food safety and quality systems.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant food safety legislation, customer standards and company requirements.
- Previous experience in a Quality Systems, QA or Food Safety role within food manufacturing or FMCG.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety management systems.
- Experience with internal and external audits and corrective action management.
- Strong documentation, reporting and organisational skills.
- The ability to work confidently with Production and Operations teams and influence quality standards on the floor.
- Excellent attention to detail and a practical, hands-on approach to quality.
- Relevant qualifications in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality or a related discipline are highly regarded.
