Public Sector People is recruiting an experienced real estate leader to oversee the growth and operations of a Sydney-based property management business.
With significant portfolio growth planned, this is an opportunity to shape how the business develops, build new partnerships and lead a team across property management, leasing and trust accounting.
Reporting to an executive leader, you will take responsibility for commercial performance, service delivery and agency compliance, including acting as Licensee in Charge.
The role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving business development and building relationships with developers, investors and property owners.
- Leading and developing the property management, leasing and trust accounting team.
- Overseeing new portfolio mobilisation, leasing strategies and operational readiness.
- Managing budgets, revenue, occupancy and overall business performance.
- Strengthening systems, processes and reporting to support growth.
- Ensuring the agency meets its licensing, regulatory and governance obligations.
You will bring senior leadership experience in real estate, property management, Build to Rent or a large residential portfolio, with a track record of growing a business and improving its operations.
You will also have:
- Strong commercial skills, including budget management and financial performance.
- Experience developing partnerships and securing new business.
- A practical understanding of property management, leasing and trust accounting.
- Experience leading teams through growth or change.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders.
- Relevant qualifications in business, property or a related discipline.
Experience in affordable housing, community housing or residential portfolio mobilisation will be highly regarded.
