The Role
- Design, develop, and deliver culturally appropriate e-learning content and blended training programs to enhance digital and professional capabilities of First Nations peoples.
- This will involve identifying the skills required for the role against a Digital Skills Framework and developing a matrix of skill competencies.
- Engaging and consulting with relevant stakeholders to define role requirements and to codesign models of delivery.
- Identifying existing training or developing content to support professional development.
- Facilitate both in-person and virtual training sessions to build knowledge-sharing capacity across 30 Indigenous Knowledge Centres.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure training programs are respectful, relevant, and aligned with Indigenous cultural values and learning styles.
About you
- First Nations People are encouraged to apply
- 5+ years’ experience in training development and delivery, preferably within community and local council projects.
- Qualification in Training, Education, Human Resources, or other relevant field or equivalent work experience in these fields and demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), learning tools, and virtual training platforms (e.g., Articulate).
- Demonstrated experience in producing high quality training and materials that meet the criteria specified with project management and learning frameworks.
