Public Sector People are working with a council in Sydney who are seeking a Return To Work (RTW) Coordinator to join their team on a 3 month contract. 

As RTW Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing injury and illness cases, supporting employees through recovery and return to work, and promoting a proactive, wellness-focused culture. 

Some Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complex workers compensation cases with empathy and professionalism
  • Develop and implement return-to-work plans aligned with legislative requirements
  • Provide guidance and support to injured or ill employees and their managers
  • Design, implement, and evaluate health and wellbeing programs and initiatives
  • Deliver training and promote awareness of health, safety, and injury management practices
  • Provide advice on first aid procedures and ensure appropriate facilities and training are in place
What We’re Looking For:
  • Degree in Occupational Health, Nursing, Allied Health or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Local government experience highly desirable 
  • Demonstrated experience in workplace rehabilitation, return-to-work coordination, and injury management
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices
  • Ability to manage sensitive and complex cases with discretion and confidence.
