About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Revit Documenter / Draftsperson to join the Rail Division of a leading architecture studio in Melbourne. This is an opportunity to contribute to large-scale infrastructure and rail projects , working alongside a team of Senior and Principal Architects on high-impact public and transport developments.
This role is offered on an hourly contract basis , with an initial 8-week engagement and strong potential for extension or transition to a longer-term/permanent position , depending on performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality Revit documentation and detailed drawings for rail and infrastructure projects
- Collaborate closely with 2–4 Senior and Principal Architects
- Assist in the development of technical design packages and construction documentation
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project standards
- Contribute to coordination across multidisciplinary project teams
We are looking for a motivated and proactive professional who can hit the ground running.
Essential:
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit (documentation-focused)
- Strong experience producing detailed construction documentation
- Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced project environment
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Experience working on rail, transport, or infrastructure projects
- Understanding of large-scale project coordination and delivery
- Ability to take initiative and work proactively with minimal supervision
- 7.5 hours per day
