What You’ll Be Doing
- Project estimating — Review drawings, complete quantity take‑offs and prepare accurate labour, material and equipment costings.
- Quoting & tenders — Produce competitive quotations and submit proposals within required timeframes.
- Scheduling — Coordinate project timelines, resource requirements and job information with internal teams.
- Supplier & subcontractor pricing — Assess quotes to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
- AroFlo job management — Maintain up‑to‑date job data, purchase orders, cost tracking and project documentation.
- Cost control — Monitor job costs, track gross profit margins and identify projects at risk of exceeding budget.
- Process improvement — Enhance estimating templates, workflows and internal procedures.
- Team coordination — Work closely with internal and offshore support teams to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Cert IV in Building & Construction (Estimating) or equivalent.
- Experience in roofing or construction estimating.
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- High numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel, Smartsheet and estimating software.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Experience preparing purchase orders and monitoring project costs.
- Up to $115k + Super
