Safety Advisor
Design & Build Recruitment are working on behalf of one of Queensland's leading Developer Builders find a Safety Advisor to work on a singular project based in Brisbane. This is a multiyear project, 3 years as a minimum.
The Role
This is a singular site-based role, joining the project prior to it even breaking dirt. You will be involved in systems set up and planning. You will be working collaborative with the Project Manager, Site Leadership, and various subcontractors.
Responsibilities
- Incident management
- Site inductions (plant/personnel/equipment)
- SWMS management with subcontractors and employees
- Internal site auditing
- Toolbox meetings and training with employees and subcontractors
- EHS reviews
- Site walks / inspections
- Accurate EHS reporting
- Establishment and maintenance of risk registers
- 5+ years' Safety Advisory experience
- Experience working on large new build high rise projects
- Cert IV in WHS
- High level of verbal & written communication
- Brisbane based projects
- You will control the one project
- Working with very experienced leadership
- Above industry salary package
