This is a fixed term contract position through to approximately October, supporting two active projects—one commercial and one civil.
The role would suit a hands-on safety professional who is comfortable working autonomously and engaging with a variety of stakeholders across different project environments.
The Role
- FIFO 2:1 roster to the Northern Territory
- Support both a commercial construction project and a civil infrastructure project
- Conduct site inspections, audits, investigations and risk assessments
- Deliver inductions, toolbox talks and safety training
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and company procedures
- Work closely with site teams, subcontractors and management to drive positive safety outcomes
- Proven experience as a Safety Advisor within commercial and civil construction
- Confident operating as the sole site-based safety representative
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Practical, proactive and solutions-focused approach to safety
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to the wider team
- Circa $180k package + uplift (FTE equivalent)
