The Role
You will be based on a luxury 20+ storey residential tower located in Brisbane's inner-city suburbs, with approximately two years of construction and ongoing work beyond this project.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with project teams, subcontractors and senior management to drive positive safety outcomes.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, incident investigations and risk assessments.
- Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and ongoing safety training.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of WHS systems and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, company standards and project requirements.
- Proven experience as a Safety Advisor within the Australian construction industry.
- Previous experience on commercial, residential or high-rise construction projects.
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation, risk management and contractor engagement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Practical, proactive and solutions-focused approach to safety.
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to the wider project team.
- Competitive salary package of up to $190,000, dependent on experience.
